Kiarn and I went to YOSS Youth One Stop Shop on Monday the 2nd September 2013. We were learning about hygiene. We had to cut our nails and clean them. We had to show them to our leader. Only Kiarn and I got a perfect mark, everyone else got a satisfactory. We got lots of thing in our hygiene pack. Here is a picture of 2 things - hand sanitiser and nail clippers.

Horomata wiki 11 - Look after the school and respect other peoples property.
Look after the school and respect other peoples property is the virtue of the week. It simply means you have to take care of the school in many ways and make sure you respect other peoples property.
You can take care of the school by not scratching the paint off the walls, picking up rubbish left around the school, not littering, not jumping the fences and not smashing windows.
You can respect other peoples property by asking to use something of theirs, not stealing their lunch, not messing up their shoes or not opening their bag.

Student-Led Conferences
On the 10th of April Whaea Raina, the children and their parents will be having the Student Led Conferences. The children will be talking to their parents about their learning. They will be talking about reading, writing, maths and general. The children will be telling the parents what they can do and what they are learning to do in each subject. I wish you all a great week and Whaea Raina can't wait to see you all at the Student Led Conferences.

Word of week 11 - Triumphant
Triumphant is the word of the week. Triumphant means win e.g Emily was triumphant at badminton! I was triumphant when I had a race with my brothers.
