Lashuan's Book Review

CREEP FROM THE DEEP!
By Lashuan Kahui!!!!
What do you like about the way the book started? I liked the way the book started because it had a lot of facts to start with and it was very interesting.

What specific themes did the author emphasize throughout the novel? It was about a monster under water.

Find three interesting words you have not seen before? Prowls, notorious, dinghy

Which character would you like to change? How would your changes change the outcome story? I would like to change William Deep JR because he tries to act all tough but he really isn’t so I want him to become sensitive.

How does the author make the characters seem real and believable? Well just when they think the tide is turning, Billy and Sheena accidentally dive into a dangerous mystery. A chilling surprise awaits them in Horror Land, the theme park where their worst nightmare is about to come to life.

What event is the most dramatic event in the novel so far? Explain in detail and give reasons why. There were no dramatic events.

Which part of the novel made you feel either happy, sad, scared, compassionate or frustrated? Describe the section and explain why you felt this way. I felt scared when the submarine went through the black mist.

What did you find surprising within the novel? Explain. The thing I thought was surprising was when gold tooth turned into a human when he was actually a pirate.

How has this book changed the way you feel about something?
It didn’t

Would you choose another book written by this author? Explain why or why not. Well it depends because I like some of the author’s books.

What is the most exciting part of the novel? The most exciting part of the novel was when Billy was imagining a big green eel rapping its tongue around him that was so awesome.

What is the most confusing part of the novel? The most confusing part was when DR D disappeared into a sort of black ink in the water under the sea, that was very confusing.

Is the book what you expected? No because I thought that it would be more interesting and more frightening.
